Kali's Academy

Kali's Academy is where people exploring their gender identity can learn everything they wanted to know about the world of femininity. While I recommend starting with Makeup Makeover or What to Wear, you can take these in any order.

The biggest tip and guiding principle I use is that everyone is unique, and what works for one person might not work for anyone else. I focus on providing a safe space to explore all of it and help you learn principles you can apply to your unique expression of femininity. Whether you are reaching for conventional standards or something wholly your own, I'll be there every step of the way!

Course Advancement

Each level generally takes 1 to 5 hours, and completion is marked by the following:

101: You understand the basic principles.

301: You effectively apply principles to your own expression.

501: You craft an identity of your own.

What to Wear

Learn the secrets of fashion as we dive into the Six Sides of Style: color, cut, fabric, fit, pattern, and accessories. I break each down into simple principles that we will use to help you find the right pieces to add to your wardrobe, in the aesthetic you want.

Makeup Makeover

I will show you how to prepare your face for makeup, then we will find your colors for foundation, contour, blush, lips, and cover the basics of keeping your look in place. Bring pictures of your favorite looks for reference!

Hygiene and Hair

We will review everything from shaving techniques and body odor management to lotion and skincare. Ever wonder why everyone has a unique routine they swear by? It’s because every body is different, so it’s here that you’ll learn the tricks of the trade that help you find what works for you.

Health and Happiness

Navigating the labyrinth of femininity is challenging even for those born into it, and it’s all for naught if you aren’t happy by the end. We’ll discuss topics like expectations, lifestyle changes, challenges, experience-informed basics about the medical side of transitioning, and some common challenges faced by anyone navigating femininity.

The Sultry Socialite

We’ll review basic etiquette, how to present as behaviorally feminine in public, and what it means to be subject to those expectations. Determine where on the spectrum of feminine presentation you want to be. When you are ready, we’ll put everything to use and go out to dinner and do another activity, like a concert or show.
